Trident Machine Tools, Inc, a division of Morris Group, Inc., is one of the nation’s largest distributors of Haas F1 CNC machine tools, automation systems and robotics. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our rapidly growing team as a Sales Associate. This is an entry level outside sales opportunity for someone interested in a fast-paced opportunity to develop an “out of the box” strategy to build their success. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will possess excellent social skills allow them to develop positive relationships and support various departments during the sales process.
Reporting to our Windsor, Connecticut office, we will provide outstanding on the job training, mentoring and development opportunities with a dynamic company in a fast-paced, growing industry.
Summary of Responsibility:
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing sales support to our capital sales team while supplementing our customers with technical information and products required to improve productivity of their machine tools. This role collaborates with Capital Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, Service, Contract Administration, technology suppliers and management to provide follow-up and ancillary products for our customers.
What You Will Contribute:
- Developing customer relationships to ensure all needs are met from pre-sale through complete integration of new machine tools.
- Acting as the central knowledge base for accessories including work holding and tooling.
- Responding to customer or field staff’s inputs, product requests, and application issues
- Identify and develop relationships with technology partners to support customers and field staff
- Maintain involvement with customer related projects to support future technology improvements, deadlines, and budgets
- Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.
- Track all sales activities and customer interactions through CRM tools

Qualifications & Competencies:
- Completion of either a manufacturing trade school certificate program, a two-year college degree or work equivalent. Preferred not required.
- Preferred working knowledge and understanding of CNC machine technology and applications.
- Basic manufacturing technology, tooling and part inspection is desired.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Frequent travel throughout a regional sales territory is necessary.
